South Birmingham Mental Health Trust

South Birmingham Mental Health NHS Trust provides a range of mental health services to a local population of 460,000 and is also a provider of specialist, tertiary services on a regional and supra-regional basis. The Trust is involved with undergraduate and postgraduate education through it's partnership with the University of Birmingham.

The mental health project consists of three locality sites:

South West Locality based at the Queen Elizabeth Site
South East Locality based at Ten Acres
Heart of Birmingham based at Showell Green

All sites will have services for Adults and on the Queen Elizabeth site there will also be services for Older Adults, Adults and Specialities Services consisting of:

Mother & Baby
Eating Disorders
Deaf
Neuropsychiatry / Neurophysiology
Psychotherapy / Psychology.

The project consists of 209 in patient beds, out patient facilities, day hospitals and University accommodation.
